Going to the store to buy your vegetables is always an option; however growing your own vegetables is the most rewarding especially when you are using Foothills Compost®!  So, how do you get started?  View our video and we have also included some of the main points as shown below
  • Make sure the area has good drainage.  Avoid locating gardens and planting beds in places where water pools and stands after heavy rains.
  • We are always use our Foothills Compost® along with the native soil which will help to break down the microorganisms in turn supplying your plants with a healthy organic fertilizer.
  • Apply about a 2” layer of Foothills Compost® to your vegetable garden.  Mix with the native soil or apply evenly across the entire surface.

We hope you enjoyed our video and make sure you check back often for more how-to's from Foothills Compost®!
