This past weekend our family had the opportunity to attend the 2016 Georgia Organics Conference in Columbus, Georgia. Georgia Organics is a non-profit organization which provides support for organic farmers. This year the Georgia Organics Annual Conference will featured seven Farm Tours, eight In-depth Workshops, 36 Educational Sessions, a Grits & Vigor Expo, Joan Gussow keynote, and the famous Farmers Feast, featuring local, organically produced food. Foothills Compost™ enjoyed the opportunity to networking with many of the small farmers, local technical colleges and universities from across the state.
